đźš« Laundry Baskets Are Not for Kids: Help Us Keep Clean Right Laundromat Safe

At Clean Right Laundromat, your family's safety is our top priority. We work hard to provide a clean, welcoming, and family-friendly environment—but we need your help to keep it safe for everyone, especially children.

One important reminder:
Please do not allow children to ride in, play in, or be placed inside laundry baskets or carts.

What may seem like harmless fun can quickly turn into a dangerous situation. Laundry baskets and rolling carts are not designed for children—and using them as makeshift rides or seats can result in serious injuries.

🚨 The Risks: Why It's Not Safe

Laundry baskets and carts are lightweight and not built to support the weight or movement of a child. Here's what can go wrong:

  • Tipping Over: Carts and baskets can flip easily when a child shifts their weight, causing falls onto hard floors.

  • Head and Neck Injuries: A fall from even a short height can cause head trauma or spinal injuries in young children.

  • Trapped Fingers or Limbs: Openings in baskets or moving parts of carts can pinch or trap little fingers and arms.

  • Collisions: Rolling carts with children inside can collide with machines, walls, or other people, risking injury to both the child and bystanders.

  • Unsanitary Contact: Laundry baskets and carts are used to carry dirty clothes. Children riding inside them may be exposed to bacteria, allergens, or harmful residues.

âś… What You Can Do

Clean Right Laundromat is a shared space, and we all play a part in keeping it safe. Here’s how you can help:

  • Supervise Children Closely: Never leave young children unattended while doing laundry.

  • Use Seating Areas, Not Baskets: Encourage kids to sit in our designated seating areas—not inside laundry baskets or carts.

  • Talk to Your Kids: Explain why laundry baskets aren’t toys, and help them understand the importance of staying safe.

  • Report Unsafe Behavior: If you see children riding in baskets or carts, please let a staff member know—we’ll address it kindly and quickly.
